The Road Thus Far

Andrea spent much of her childhood asking too many questions, refusing to wear shoes, swimming in mud puddles in the rain, and reading many books. She was often referred to as an old soul, and had a knack for seeing the truth where others would be more comfortable with a story. She found the Divine in the forest, and devoted herself to a nature based spirituality which honored those truths she found incontrovertible at the tender age of 15.

Not one to do things partway, she dove deeply into research and exploration in the privacy of her own time and among few trusted friends. It would be many years before she could be safe to leave the broom closet, but her spiritual path offered her solace and growth while providing a profoundly transformative pathway up the mountain. Though life would force her hand for many years into the realm of mundane work, she secretly harbored the dream of one day serving in her community as a Priestess, Author, and Herbalist.

She studied art & healthcare sciences in school, and for a time during the Great Recession became discouraged that there were no place in this day and age for the Healthcare Arts. Her CNA certification couldn’t support her housing and basic needs. Chronic Illness forced her into a change of career to a sedentary lifestyle. She chose Logistics & Dispatch, and supported herself and the foundation of her lifestyle through arranging transportation of goods for five years before leaving outside the home work to devote her time to her family. Being able to balance sitting & moving when necessary was even more beneficial to her chronic pain than a sedentary career, and she vowed that when she returned to the workforce she would not do so by force but with intention and autonomy over her movements.

She took the time to deepen her studies into Metaphysics and the Healing Arts while she tended her young children and home life. She realized that there would always be a need and role in human society for those among us who can sense the subtle energies and who can act as intermediaries for spirit. She has been and continues to be committed to excellence and qualifications in those subtle arts that do have known and accepted relevance in our modern era. She aims to honor the traditional healing arts with which her soul is familiar while balancing an infusion of modern wisdom to create a holistic model that fits the needs of this age.

She prefers the role of a generalist, and aims to have a comprehensive understanding of a vast array of systems and how they work. There are certainly occasions which call for specialization, but one important specialty is also the ability to bring it all together. In art that is referred to as the “Gestalt” and it is a fundamental perspective needed in creating the “bigger picture”. Andrea believes one of her greatest gifts is to see this bigger picture, and to weave together differing streams of information in order to gain a wider and more holistic perspective. Her goal is to be able to serve in bridging the gap which exists between separate systems in order to see them as one functioning unit.

In contrast to our healthcare sciences and religion which tend to divide and conquer us, she seeks to unite and empower with her service. Whether you are seeking to unite your mind with your body, your spirit with your lifestyle, the divine with the mundane, or your individual systems with the whole of your being, she hopes to assist you in integrating the disparate aspects of yourself. This service is complementary, not a substitute for, your traditional health and wellness care. Just as she has studied Quantum Mechanics alongside Hermetic Philosophy and Anatomy and Physiology alongside the Chakras, Meridians and fields of Subtle Energy, she believes that spiritual practice and energy medicine work in tandem with Allopathic medicine.

Where we perceive division and things that are mutually exclusive, we are misperceiving the whole. May we learn to coexist. May we each find our place in the world. May we know that we belong. May we know where we belong, with whom, doing what. May we each serve one another through being our authentic selves and offering what is within our souls to create. Where there is a Will, there is a Way. May we each find ours.
